Baruch Haba (Welcome)

Hello from California:

When you hear the term "foundation" you may think of a house or building.  As disciples of the Master Carpenter, Rabbi Yeshua, Ben Joseph, Ben David we have a lot in common with a building.  One type of building described in the Tanach and Brit Chadashah is the Holy Temple (Beit HaMikdash).  The Temple was a place for the Eternal One to meet with man.  The Temple was a place for the Holy One of Israel to dwell in. It is however, the Creator's ultimate desire to live in us. He wants redeemed humanity to become His Eternal Temple. He wants us to be His permanent dwelling place.

It was always the Eternal One's intention to have a relationship with you and me.  Unfortunately because of sin, each one of us starts out life as a damaged house.  As a damaged house, our Creator can only start rebuilding when you and I surrender our lives to Him and allow Him to begin His reconstruction of us.  This rebuilding project takes time and effort. However, the Lord our Rock has made a promise to do the work and finish the job if we will just turn over the building to Him.  It is our Maker's greatest desire not only to live with us but also to live within and through us, as He makes each one of us His own special dwelling place. When we study YHWH's Torah and allow His Spirit of Grace and Truth to minister to us we are transformed from the Self-willed person we use to be, before we first asked Messiah Yeshua to come into our life, into the person the heavenly Father wants us to be.

"He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock."

As with any rebuilding project it is important that the foundation of your life be made secure, then the rest of the construction will stand forever, even against the greatest of storms that you may face in your life (cf. Brit Chadashah, the "Light-bringer," Luke 6:48).

This new solid foundation for our life is Rabbi Yeshua, the Messiah. He is the cornerstone of the foundation upon which everything else is built. He is the reason and the example (blueprint) for our rebuilding project.  With Messiah's perfect life as the cornerstone, we are led and guided into all truth (ameth), we begin to hear (shamah) and understand (biynah) all the answers to our questions about life. We find clarity about the Creator's plan for us as He prepares us to be reconstructed and transformed into His likeness; which is for His glory.

Brother 2 Brother

Last Updated on Saturday, 01 October 2011 00:42

Chuck and I spent a couple of years hosting a radio program which aired on KFIA 710am. Broadcasting throughout the Sacramento and Bay Areas, Brother 2 Brother aired live. I will be editing some of the recorded shows as to only focus on the key teaching related to the program and then upload them to the site.

The goal for Brother 2 Brother was quite simple, to encourage others with the Word of the Almighty, as much as we have been encouraged,  I trust the Lord that these recordings continue to have that effect in your lives.
